Leeds Rhinos wing Ryan Hall is quoted at 6/1 with Sky Bet in the Super League betting to score the most tries in the play-off series after scoring a sensational 28 tries during the regular season.
St Helens, who are available at 2/1 to win the Grand Final after finishing second in the regular season to Leeds, provide the second man in the betting in the shape of Ade Gardner, who notched 13 regular season tries.
David Hodgson of Huddersfield and Pat Richards of Wigan, who tied second with 18 tries during the regular season, are available at 14/1 and 10/1 respectively to score most in the play-offs.
Sky Bet’s rugby league betting expert, Dave Sykes, said: ‘The top tryscorer market for the playoffs looks a wide open event given the likelihood that teams will play a maximum of three games.
“Hull KR flyer Peter Fox, with 17 tries this season, could be the value at 14/1 as KR have two bites at the cherry. Even a defeat on Friday at Leeds would leave them with another chance of progression with a game against a team who finished between 5th and 8th the following week”.
