Australia 15/8 to beat NZ in final

The 2009 Four-Nations series continues tomorrow and Sky Bet are offering 6/1 for the final to be a repeat of the 2008 World Cup final were New Zealand beat their bitter rivals Australia.

It’s 11/8 for Australia to defeat England in the final and 15/8 for Australia to gain revenge for their world cup defeat by beating New Zealand.

Sky Bet’s David Sykes said: “Australia lost to New Zealand in last year’s world cup final and are attractively priced at 15/8 to gain revenge by beating the Kiwi’s in this year’s Four-Nations final”

Tomorrow sees the 2/7 favourites for the competition Australia take on New Zealand and it’s 10/11 for Australia to win with a handicap of -16 points (10/11 NZ +16 & 16/1 Draw). The Kiwis, who beat Tonga 40-24 last week, are 20/1 to beat Australia by the same winning margin as their world cup final victory, 11 to 15 points and it’s 3/1 for New Zealand to be leading after 40 minutes (1/4 Australia).
