Celestial Halo is 6/1 from 8/1 with Sky Bet in the Champion Hurdle betting after defying topweight in the Limited handicap on his seasonal reappearance in the Elite Hurdle at Wincanton on Saturday.
Paul Nicholls stated that he would improve considerably for the outing and may not be suited to the sharp track, but he made a sparkling return to action despite drifting in the market.
Matt Doyle, Sky Bet’s horse racing betting spokesman, said: ‘He had it all against him today giving away lots of weight, but was very impressive and his Festival record is second to none after missing out narrowly last year in the Champion Hurdle.’
