Following Liverpool’s 1-0 victory over rivals Everton on Saturday, to take them into the top 4 of the Premier League, Sky Bet have cut Liverpool’s odds of finishing in the top 4 from 7/4 into 5/6.
Tottenham, who are 1 point behind Benitez’s men in 5th are 4/1 to finish in the top 4 and Manchester City, who are 2 points behind Tottenham with 2 games in hand are 6/5.
Sky Bet’s football betting spokesman Tim Reynolds said: “Liverpool have really turned their season around and have gained 17 points from a possible 21 in their last seven league matches. Benitez has told everyone Liverpool will finish in the top four and at the moment his prediction is looking spot on.”
